Egunec Foundation also known as Egunec Education Support Foundation is a non-governmental, non-partisan and non-religious civil society organization founded in 2013 and is registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC), National Planning Commission (NPC), Universal Basic Education Board, and The Federal Ministry of Education. Since its inception, the organization has been relatively self-sufficient. Given our aim, we have successfully launched education-centred projects geared towards alleviating poverty and upgrading societal and personal development: from promoting the rights of vulnerable children to building communities and empowering youths with leadership and employability skills. Egunec Foundation has also collaborated with other non-profit organizations to promote good governance and humanitarian and educational support for children and other persons in crises through legislative intervention to mitigate the cycle of violence and improve advocacy on human rights, empowerment, and community development.

Objectives:

- Develop Innovative Programs to reduce poverty and inequality by promoting gender equality and equal opportunity
- Collaborate with local and international relevant sectors in promoting development programs on sustainable development and good governance.
- Raise awareness of global issues such as; increased poverty, population displacement, human trafficking, marginalization and bad education system.
- Empower vulnerable communities through access to financing and entrepreneurship opportunity
- Advocate for greater government transparency and accountability in human rights and economic development policies.
